WHAT YOU CAN DO IN CHINSTA

Highlights include canoe rides up the river at high tide, walks to Chefani Mouth or a ten minute drive to the Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve, where you can see rhino, giraffe, zebra and a variety of buck.

Chintsa is part of the Wild Coast of South Africa and is situated 45 kms north east of East London, Eastern Cape, on the shores of the Indian Ocean. 12 kilometres of unspoiled golden beaches, wonderful bird life, an abundance of indigenous flora and whale and dolphin sightings, make Chintsa 'a little piece of Paradise'. The climate is warm maritime/cool sub-tropical with the sea lowering summer temperatures and raising winter temperatures. It enjoys one of the mildest climates in all of south Africa.

AND THERE'S MORE.....

As the name implies, the "Bumpkin" is a beautiful, homely restaurant set a little back from the coast and specialises in a buffet menu, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday lunches. Creative touches and regular art exhibitions decorate the interior with large gardens and plenty of space and facilities for the children make it a wonderful family outing.
